This is a public art proposal project about a playground. This playground is combined with an upper area and a lower area. The upper area is a playground that has some gym facilities for elderly to keep fit and slides for children to play. On the other hand, the lower area just has a few benches, chess tables and a strange withered tree. So people may have no interest to walk up stairs to enjoy or even discover those facilities at the upper area.

 

這模型是有關市區中一個小公園的公共藝術計劃。

此公園有上、下兩部份，之間有一條樓梯連接，

上部份是一個操場，有一些供長者使用的健身設施和供小孩們玩耍的滑梯，

而下面的部份，只有幾張長椅，象棋桌和一棵枯樹。

因此，人們大都沒有興趣走上樓梯到上部份使用，

甚至沒有發現在上部份的各項設施。

 

This public art proposal consists of 2 parts. First of all, a shadow of the withered tree, which the direction of sunrise, drawn on the ground. In that shadow, a branch from that tree broken that needs people to stand there to repair that shadow. Second, the shadow of the tree is growing up to the stairs and there are appeared flower when people walk upwards, the upper, the more flowers can see. And hope this public art project can guide the people to the upper part of the playground and enjoy the facilities there.

 

此公共藝術計劃設計分為兩部份。

首先，

枯樹旁的地上繪上日出方向的影子。在整個影子中，有一支樹枝是斷的，

並需要有人在日出時站在這裡，修補這影子。

再者，

樹的陰影一直引伸至樓梯，並不斷在樓梯的平面上繪出花來，

人在正面是看不到任何的花，但如越走越上，便看到越多花，

並走上了公園的上部份。

 

希望此公共藝術計劃可以

引導大眾走上公園上面部份，

並享受這裡的設施。
